Why do we have small groups at The Bridge?

We truly believe that Small Groups are the best environment for people to experience lasting life change. When the truth of God’s Word intersects with the reality of people’s lives, incredible things can happen. Groups provide a safe place for people to be their authentic selves as they hear about who Jesus is and how they can live out their personal relationship with Him.

What is our Mission as a Small Group?

Small groups at the Bridge exist to provide spaces where people can know and follow Jesus together.

What Do We Do About Childcare for our Small Group?

Here are 3 great options to help your group address the need for childcare!

1. We offer free childcare at the Sugar Land Campus on Tuesday morning (9:30 am-12:00 pm) and Wednesday evening (6:00-9:00 pm). You can reserve spots in childcare by contacting the Group Life Team at groups@thebridge.me.

2. We can help your group members with babysitting costs! Click here for Childcare Reimbursement.

3. You can handle childcare as a group by having one or two sitters come to your house and watching the kids in another room while you have group time. Childcare Reimbursement can be used toward the cost of this, as well.

How Do I Choose a Study for my Group?

You have several great ways to pick the right curriculum for your group!

1. Use the curriculum provided by the Group Life Team at the beginning of each semester.

2. Find a study on RightNow Media that would be a good fit for your group. If you click on The Bridge Fellowship under Libraries on RN Media, you will see an extensive list of studies that have been recommended by other group leaders.

3. You may see a study or book that looks good to you but isn’t included on RightNow Media. Check in with the Group Life Team to see if it lines up well with our beliefs as a church. If it does, then you can feel free to purchase that curriculum and use it with your group.

How Can My Group Get Connected Relationally?

Ice breakers, games, and fun activities provide your group with a way to learn more about each other. They also can lead to some of the most memorable (and hilarious) moments of your Small Group!
