For the Nation

God’s plan to deal with sin starts small but quickly grows. It begins with covering the sin of a single couple—Adam and Eve. But it doesn’t stop there. In the story of Passover, God takes things further by providing a way for an entire family to be protected. He instructs the Israelites to sacrifice an innocent lamb, and its blood covers their households, shielding them from the coming judgment. This moment not only rescued them in the short term but pointed to something much bigger—the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus. His blood doesn’t just cover sin for one family; it covers the sins of anyone who puts their faith in Him, once and for all. It’s a powerful progression from the individual to the family, and ultimately to all of us.
