Eating At Home
- If you are eating at home, assign each person in the family a task they can handle to help prepare the meal. Use what’s around the house to create a fun table setting.
- Also, make sure everyone gets a chance to clean up when you are finished. (Maybe part of the fun is helping with something you’ve never done before?)
Eating Out
- If you are eating out, make sure to find a spot in the restaurant where everyone can hear each other and where there aren’t too many distractions.
Challenge:
- Order an appetizer or a dessert that you wouldn’t normally order and let everyone in the family try it.
Tip for Infants
* If you are a family with infants or children too young to participate, think about ways you can create a spiritual rhythm in your own life.
Perhaps it’s time alone with a spouse, a friend, or a mentor. It might be time alone resting, or reading your Bible, or joining a small group. Pick something you can easily make happen but that is just for you!
