No one will have more influence on your child than YOU will! The Bridge believes that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. It is our hope that we can partner with you from the very beginning. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

What is Child Dedication?

Child dedication is an opportunity for you as parents to express your desire to raise your child in a Christian home, believing and praying that at an early age, they come to know the Lord and follow Him all the days of their life. At The Bridge, this is our opportunity to partner with you to support you in that calling. We’re honored to be entrusted with this privilege!

What Child Dedication is NOT

Child Dedication is not salvation or baptism. At The Bridge, we believe that a child must be old enough to understand what it means to put their faith in Jesus Christ before they can be baptized. This event is an opportunity for you as parents to begin your journey on raising your child to develop their OWN relationship with Jesus Christ.

What to expect at Child Dedication

The doors will open at 5:45pm for you to get a picture with your family. Food will be provided right at 6:00pm and the program will begin at 6:30pm. You will hear from our Family Team during the program and at the end there will be a special time of prayer for your family. The whole event should last about 1.5 hours. There will be a follow up email sent to you closer to the day of the event.
